Simon Scales grew up in Adelaide, Australia, drawing anything and everything he could from a very early age. Simon cannot resist the opportunity to breathe life into fun and unusual children's characters and simply loves creating environments for these imaginary characters to live! He graduated with honors from the University of Southern Australia, then ventured out into the big wide world of freelance illustration.

The world of Little Santa has allowed him to indulge in his love of magic, fantasy, and whimsy storytelling.
